Tobi Block - Shores of Lunacy

Tobi Block - Shores of Lunacy

Growing up, Tobias got into heavy music with his dad, listening to bands such as AC/DC and Metallica. Further developing his musical taste, he enjoyed bands like Linkin Park and Papa Roach until he found himself moving through Metalcore by bands such as Asking Alexandria and Parkway Drive onto full-blown brutality with Deathcore and influences from Suicide Silence or Chelsea Grin.

At age 14, Tobias started playing guitar, teaching himself on his mother's acoustic guitar. His dedication soon won him proper lessons, which allowed him to further his technique and style even more. It was this combination of self-taught passion and formal training that would eventually become the bedrock of his unique sound.

Formed in 2020, the band Shores Of Lunacy quickly gained momentum within the deathcore scene. To date, they have released two EPs and multiple singles, with work currently underway for their highly-anticipated, full-length debut album due in 2025. A high-energy live act, Shores Of Lunacy continues to dominate the stages with brutal stage presence and rigorously choreographed light shows that create a completely immersive experience for the audience.

With that trend continuing to build, Shores Of Lunacy is one breakout from leaving the underground in which they've built up steam and stepping onto the main stages of the world. Headlining tours through Germany and its neighbor countries, stages shared with Siamese, Distant, or Born Of Osiris among others - the ambitions are clear: to rise to the most-forward position of the deathcore genre.
